Hatching & Incubation

Store eggs pointed-end down at room temperature (55–65°F) and turn them at least twice a day until you are ready to incubate. Avoid refrigerating them.

We do not guarantee hatch rates because many factors are outside of our control (incubator quality, temperature swings, handling during shipping, etc.), but we select and ship only fresh, fertile eggs.

Live Birds

We offer chicks (<1 week old), juveniles (1–4 weeks), and adults (5+ weeks), available as males, females, or mixed groups.

We recommend 1 male for every 5–6 females to maintain fertility without overbreeding.

Yes! Our farm is NPIP certified, which means we meet national poultry health standards and can legally ship across state lines where allowed.

Yes, we visually sex our birds after 3 weeks of age. For younger chicks, we cannot guarantee gender.

03

Shipping

We ship hatching eggs and frozen products across the continental U.S. Live birds can be picked up locally or shipped where legal.

We typically ship Monday–Wednesday to avoid weekend delays.

We do not offer refunds on live animals or hatching eggs, but if you receive a damaged shipment, contact us within 24 hours with photos for review.

Care & Housing

We recommend about 1 square foot per bird, with 3 birds per square foot being the maximum for good health.

A high-protein game bird feed (24–30% protein for chicks, 18–20% for adults) is best. Avoid medicated chick starter.

Quail do not perch like chickens and will lay eggs on the ground. Providing soft bedding or sand encourages laying.

Yes, with proper shelter from wind, rain, and predators. Extreme cold may require supplemental heat.
